Allco completed a 2000 acre constructed wetland to direct flow from Lake Lavon into the water treatment plan in Wylie, Texas. The project required a variety of concrete structures of all sizes and a calculated elevation change on the route between the lake and WTP. At the completion of the project, over 1.5 million plants were added into the wetlands to serve as the natural initial filtration.
