The Villa Maria Underpass construction utilized 32,000 sq yards of concrete paving to create twin 400 linear foot vehicle and railroad bridges, and includes glass mosaic murals of local attractions to enhance the beauty.  The Allco team also coordinated with TXDOT as well as Union Pacific to complete 10,500 linear ft of railroad track replacement.  This underpass eliminated a dangerous and congested railroad crossing between two stoplights.  As a result of the construction, traffic no longer intersects on either side of the railroad, increasing the safety for travelers in the community.
